Customer Service
JDs:
- Coordinating
with shipper & overseas office on new bookings, shipment status
- Coordinating
with local transporters and shippers to ensure timely and cost effective
pick up and movement
- Coordinate with Customers for day to day
shipments
- Coordinate with Operations for ensuring bookings as per
customer requirements
- Monitor incoming/ outgoing shipments and investigate
with origins on any current/ potential delays.
- Booking
with airlines/shipping lines and following up for timely onward
connection
- Send
routing and follow up with origin and update customer with status
at all stages till shipment arrival.
- Coordinate
between shipper, local transporter and clearing agent/ department to
ensure smooth export/import process takes place
- Updating
shipper & oversea offices on the status of shipment
- Maintaining
daily status reports
- Coordinate
with Sales/customers& overseas
- System
updates as per requirement
- Working
towards sustainable growth of handling customers business
- Good
Team player & maintaining cordial relations with internal/external customers
- Working
towards customer satisfaction & focus on increase in business
from existing customer
- Any
other related duties / projects assigned by the direct supervisor from
time to time to meet the business exigencies
- Open
to adapt new challenges within organization
Basic requirements:
- Good
communication skills
- Should
be fluent in spoken and written English
- Min
5-6 years of experience in handling ocean/air, export/import
shipment
